With The Devil Wears Prada 2 now playing in theaters, fans are going to want to know more about the new actors who were added to the cast for the sequel, including Andy’s new love interest played by Patrick Brammall.
Patrick, 50, plays a real estate investor who meets Andy while she is looking at apartments in the building he just renovated. A cute encounter leads to a relationship between the two characters!
Patrick‘s casting in the movie was confirmed in August 2025 after he was spotted on set filming a romantic scene with Anne Hathaway. While they do wear those costumes for an important scene in the movie, the moments captured by paparazzi seem to have been cut from the finished movie.

Patrick is making his feature film debut in a major American movie with The Devil Wears Prada 2 and he’s mainly known for his work on television.
After starring in many Australian projects since the early 2000s, Patrick had his breakout role with American audiences in the series No Activity, which premiered on the streaming service CBS All Access in 2017. He not only starred in the series, he also developed it. The fourth season premiered on Paramount+ when the streamer eventually changed names. Sadly, the show is no longer available on the streamer and was removed in 2023.
You also might recognize Patrick from his role as Andy Bouchard on the CBS and Paramount+ show Evil.
Most recently, Patrick has been playing Gordon “Flash” Crapp on the Paramount+ series Colin from Accounts, which he created with his wife Harriet Dyer.

Patrick and Harriet have been together since 2017, when they started working together on No Activity.
The couple got married in March 2021 after being engaged for just five days and they adopted their first child together, a daughter, in September 2021. Patrick and Harriet welcomed their second child, another daughter, in February 2025.
After co-creating and co-starring in Colin from Accounts with her hubby, Harriet went on to star in the CBS comedy series DMV. Sadly, it was canceled after one season and the series finale is airing in May 2026.
