Charlize Theron isn’t sure she wants to live with a romantic partner again.
The 50-year-old star of new Netflix movie Apex visited The Drew Barrymore Show this week and opened up about her complicated feelings regarding living situations with people you’re in a relationship with.
“I really mean this—people think I joke—I don’t think I could ever live with somebody again,” she shared, via Entertainment Weekly. “I’m not sure I can.”

That being said, she’d be okay with someone living near her.
“I would love for you to be close,” Charlize said. “Like, buy the house down the street.”
However, she also acknowledged that her feelings could someday change.
The “Maybe it’s because I still have my daughters in the house and maybe that will change when I’m an empty nester. But I’m looking for something very specific.” the Monster star continued.
Earlier this week, Charlize did something truly daring while advertising her Netflix film. She climbed all the way to the top of a rock wall above Time Square!
