Anne Hathaway is giving thanks to her co-star Emily Blunt!
While attending a special screening of the upcoming The Devil Wears Prada 2 on Tuesday night (April 28), the 43-year-old actress dished on one of her favorite scenes in the film, which was the result of a suggestion by her co-star.

“Shout out an amazing note that Emily gave when we were in the very early script stage,” Anne said on stage. “She noticed that the core four [Anne, Emily, Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci] didn’t have enough scenes together.”
“And so, I’ll say one of my favorite scenes in the entire movie is when the core four are finally reunited,” she continued. “And that’s because of Emily’s suggestion.”
Anne also noted that it didn’t really hit her that they made a sequel 20 years later until she was heading to the premiere!
“It hit me while I was on my way to the premiere. I was like, ‘Oh, we did it! Oh, this is happening. The Devil Wears Prada 2 is coming out!’ That was the moment for me, legit,” she said.
Emily added, “All of us together were like this very accelerated family on the first one. So to come back together, it was really powerful for me being in that table read. I was like, ‘Oh sh-t, we’re doing this.”
