Stephen Miller‘s wife Katie addressed the photos of her husband grabbing her breast and appearing to use her as a shield during the gunfire incident at the 2026 White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
If you did not see the news, higher ranking officials were rushed out of the event at the Washington Hilton on Saturday evening (April 25) after shots were fired. The alleged shooter was identified as Cole Thomas Allen.
But a photo has gone viral as a result: Miller behind his pregnant wife as they are rushing out.

On Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle after the event, she said, “They had to make me the target. And you know what? To that, I would say Stephen did a phenomenal job, and he was behind me and protecting not only me, but our baby.”
About looking like he’s feeling her up, she said, “There’s this like very funny post, and I look at Stephen and I was like, ‘Did you really need to do that?’ And he’s like, ‘What did I do?’”
She continued, “Brian, who’s our detail, says to Stephen, you know, ‘She goes first,’ and so I went first because the threat was behind us. What everyone sees is my husband maybe copping a feel, but what I would say is that he wasn’t going to put his hands on my stomach, because that’s where our baby is.”
