Concerns about the cost of living in the country and the war against Iran influenced the drop in approval. The survey shows that 34% of Americans approve of Trump’s performance, a lower percentage than the 36% recorded in mid-April. The research, released this Tuesday, was carried out over four days and concluded on Monday (27). The survey was conducted across the country online, surveyed 1,014 North American adults and has a margin of error of 3 percentage points. Federal prosecutors accused the shooter of attempting to assassinate the president. Trump’s position among the US population has been on a downward trend since he took office in January 2025, when 47% of Americans approved of him. Its popularity has suffered a drop since the US and Israel launched a war against Iran on February 28, which led to a rise in gasoline prices.
