Six people die in series of shootings in Mississippi; suspect is arrested

Clay County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff Eddie Scott said in a social media post that “multiple innocent lives” were lost “as a result of the violence.” In an interview with local broadcaster WTVA, the sheriff said that the six deaths occurred in three different locations, in episodes related to each other.
