Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes authorized this Monday (12) the progression of hacker Walter Delgatti Neto’s sentence to the semi-open regime.
Delgatti was sentenced to eight years and three months in prison for hacking into the electronic systems of the National Justice Council (CNJ). The defense filed a request for sentence progression with the STF alleging that he had already served more than 20% of the sentence, the minimum percentage required by law.
In addition to the time served, the lawyers stated that Delgatti shows good prison behavior, which was proven by the certificate and prison report attached to the request.
The hacker was convicted in the same process as licensed deputy Carla Zambelli, considered the mastermind behind the invasion of CNJ systems. Zambelli received a ten-year prison sentence.
