Jeffrey Epstein case: US control body investigates failures in disclosing files

The Epstein case has been hanging over the department for more than a year. The FBI and the Department of Justice even stated, in an unsigned note, that they would not release additional records from the sex trafficking investigation involving Epstein, but backed down after the legislation was approved by Congress and signed into law by President Donald Trump.
