Zayn Malik has canceled all of his U.S. concerts.
On Friday morning (May 1), the 33-year-old singer announced on his Instagram Story that he has canceled all of the U.S. dates on his The KONNAKOL Tour.
The news comes after the former One Direction member revealed last month that he had been hospitalized for an unspecified medical issue.
“To my fans: Thank you so much for all the support and love you’ve shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers, and well wishes for my health. I’ve felt it, and it’s meant the world,” Zayn wrote. “I’ve been at home recovering and I’m doing well and will be better and stronger than before.”
“I’ve had to take another look at my schedule for the months ahead and have to reduce the number of shows on the KONNAKOL Tour,” he continued. “I want to make sure I still get out and see as many of you as I possibly can. I’m really looking forward to playing these shows for you, and I hope to see the rest of you around the world very soon. Big Love, Z”
Zayn‘s shows in Dublin and Birmingham in the U.K. were also canceled.
The KONNAKOL Tour was originally scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 12 in Manchester, UK, but that date has now been pushed back to May 23. You can see his update tour dates and stops at inZayn.com.
After Zayn recently canceled an appearance on Fallon, it was reported that he is getting treatment from a cardiologist.
