Conner Leavitt is following in wife Whitney Leavitt‘s footsteps!
On Friday (May 1), it was announced that the 32-year-old influencer and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star will be making his New York stage debut in the off-Broadway show 11 to Midnight.
“I’m so grateful for the opportunity to join the cast of 11 to Midnight and be a part of such a special, unique theater experience here in New York,” Conner shared with People.
He went on to cite Whitney, also 32, as a “continuous inspiration to follow your dreams,” and shared that her “experience onstage really helped me find a love and appreciation for the theater.”
If you didn’t know, Conner and Whitney recently moved to New York City with their three young children for her record-breaking run as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. Her stint has been extended several times due to strong ticket demands.
Here’s the show’s synopsis: “11 to Midnight takes place during one unforgettable hour at a New Year’s Eve apartment party—somewhere in the city, where the music’s loud, the lights are soft, and time feels like it’s had a glass of champagne too. Resolutions are made (and some forgotten), feelings pop up out of nowhere, and the future? Well, let’s see what happens this time next year! Seven friends—some old, some new, all tangled up in the messy magic of friendship—come together to toast the New Year. Whether it’s 1921 or 2025, the ritual remains the same—we make a wish, promise big, and hopefully score a midnight kiss.”
Conner‘s first performance in 11 to Midnight will be on May 8, and he will remain in the cast for a limited three-week engagement, concluding on May 27. He will be joining previously announced new cast members Heather Morris and Nia Sioux. You can get tickets here!
