Li Jun Li is joining the cast of The Last of Us for its third season.
The actress had a breakout year in 2025 after playing Grace Chow in the Oscar-winning film Sinners. Now she will be joining the Max series as Miriam, a Seraphite and mom to Lev and Yara, reports Variety.
Previously, Michelle Mao was announced as Yara and Kyriana Kratter as Liv. The pair of siblings have a very critical role in the storyline involving Abby and Ellie in the second game which will seemingly be portrayed in the third season.

The show’s season 3 cast also includes series newcomers Patrick Wilson, Clea DuVall, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., and Jason Ritter, along with returning stars Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, and Spencer Lord, all of who have been promoted to series regulars.
Kaitlyn Dever, Bella Ramsey, Isabella Merced, Gabriel Luna, and Jeffrey Wright are also returning.
Li will also star alongside Nicolas Cage in the upcoming Prime Video series Spider-Noir where she is playing Felicia “Cat” Hardy.
The Last of Us season 2 aired in the first half of 2025 and season 3 is expected in 2027. It is currently in production. Season 3 might also end up being the final season, though it hasn’t been confirmed yet.
