👉 Since the start of the current war in the Middle East, at the end of February, Iran has closed passage through the Strait of Hormuz, the only way out of the Persian Gulf, where major oil producers are located. Ships transporting around 20% of all the oil and gas consumed in the world usually travel through the strait.
