Berlin airport, the capital of Germany, reported this Thursday morning (5) that takeoffs are canceled due to the snow and rain that hit the region.
On the official website, they issued a statement asking passengers to check with the airlines about the status of their flights.
The city was hit by new blizzard and “freezing” rain. At the beginning of January, several countries in Europe were hit by the cold and cities were covered in snow.
The country’s rail traffic and roads also suffered from the bad weather.
