Maybe you aren’t the visual, baby.
While fans have waited years for Beyoncé to release music videos for her 2022 album Renaissance, Barbie Ferreira may have just revealed the fate of the elusive footage.
“I, like, did a Beyoncé music video three and a half years ago,” Barbie explained on the May 1 podcast episode of In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele. “And it’ll never come out. I finally have accepted it.”
While the release of the visuals is still up in the air, Barbie shared that she had filmed a video for “Thique,” directed by Nadia Lee Cohenalongside Megan Thee Stallion, Carmen Electra, Shygirland Precious Lee.
“It was just all cool,” the 29-year-old told host Owen Thiele. “It was like thick b—hes, you know, thick baddies.”
Awestruck by the reveal, Owen insisted, “She has to put that out.” Although, he and the rest of the Beyhive may be disappointed, as the “Cuff It” singer’s only response to questions over the lost videos over the years has been, “You are the visual, baby!”
