Ellen DeGeneres is returning to familiar look.
One year after the former talk show host debuted her gray hair transformation, she swapped out her dark pixie cut for her signature bleached-blonde huedebuting the spiky yellow locks while out in Montecito, California, on Dec. 27. For the outing, she wore blue jeans, a white T-shirt, a green jacket and off-white sneakers.
Since the 67-year-old moved to England with her wife Portia de Rossi in spring 2024, she has made her appearances in California count. In fact, it was her trip back to the seaside town last January, where she shocked fans with her gray ‘do.
Ellen had kept the dark color for months, even attending the unveiling of Restoration Hardware Paris alongside her wife in September with the look.
It’s a new chapter in the comedian’s life as she and Portia continue to embrace their roots in England. Most recently, the couple sold their $30 million Cotswold estate for a nearby home that better suits the Arrested Development actress’ animals.
