Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), determined, this Tuesday (30), that the defense of Filipe Martins, former advisor to ex-president Jair Bolsonaro, expresses itself within 24 hours on the possibility of non-compliance with precautionary measures imposed by the minister.
Last week, Moraes ordered the house arrest of Filipe Martins and nine other people convicted in the coup plot to avoid the risk of new escape attempts, as done by federal deputy Alexandre Ramagem and Silvinei Vasques, general director of the Federal Highway Police in the Bolsonaro government.
In addition to house arrest, Moraes imposed precautionary measures such as a ban on the use of social networks.
Filipe Martins was sentenced to 21 years in prison for attempted coup d’état by the First Panel of the Supreme Court, in a trial held on December 16th.
