The Civil Police and the Military Brigade rescued the businessman and vice-mayor of Não-Me-Toque, Gilson Trennepohl, early this Monday (22). He is the owner of the company Stara and had been kidnapped last Saturday (20).
A police siege rescued the businessman in a dense forested area in Marau, around a hundred kilometers from where he had been taken.
Trennepohl had no injuries and was doing well, but was taken for medical care at the Cristo Redentor Hospital, in Marau, before meeting his family.
One person was arrested and a vehicle was seized. The BM is searching for other suspects involved in the crime.
