Nikki “Bella” Garcia is getting totally candid about confidence.
The Total Bellas alum revealed she pulled herself out the running for the highly anticipated Baywatch reboot due to insecurities about wearing the iconic red swimsuit.
“I had an audition for Baywatch. I ended up not doing it,” Nikki said during the April 27 episode of her and sister Brie Garcia’s The Nikki and Brie Show podcast. “Because I knew that I would not be comfortable wearing—if I was to get it—I would not be comfortable wearing a red swimsuit 24/7.”
“I am not confident yet in a swimsuit, so I didn’t do it,” she added. “What I’ve learned is I have to put myself in positions of, like, where I feel most confident.”
Though soaking up the sun in the Fox series starring Noah Beck, Brooks Nader, Livvy Dunne and more didn’t end up being Nikki’s cup of tea, the pro wrestler shared where she is most confident: making her way to the ring.
“When I’m walking down that ramp,” the 42-year-old explained, “and I’m in my Nikki Bella gear, I am so confident.”
