The 76-year-old Vogue Editor-in-Chief walked the red carpet as she arrived at the 2026 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 4) in New York City.

For the event, Anna wore a seafoam green and black dressed with a matching feathered cape by Chanel paired with Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry.
Anna’s daughter Bee Shaffer arrives with husband Francesco Carrozzini
Bee Shaffer, who is Anna‘s daughter, walked the red carpet at the big event with husband Francesco Carrozzini, whom she has been married to since 2018.
Bee, 38, wore a red dress with a floral design while Francesco, 43, sported a classic black tux.

Back in September 2025, Chloe was named new US Head of Editorial Content at Vogue, after Anna Wintour decided to step down from the role.
Everything to know about this year’s Met Gala
The Met Gala is the biggest night in fashion every year and you can expect hundreds of A-List celebrities to be in attendance. The gala is celebrating the Met’s Costume Art exhibition, which “explores the ‘centrality of the dressed body’ through depictions and interpretations of the human form in the Met’s extensive collection.” The dress code this year is “Fashion is Art” and the co-chairs for the gala are Beyonce, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
