Taylor spoke out about this topic during a sit down to discuss her biggest hits with The New York Times Magazine.
Some fans, she said, will take things to an “extreme place” and she revealed when things get “weird” for her.
“There’s corners of my fan base who are going to take things to a really extreme place. There’s nothing I can do about that. There’s people who are going to try and do…detective work,” Taylor explained.
“When it gets a little bit weird to me when people act like it’s sort of a paternity test. Like, this songs about that person.
