More information is coming out following the sudden death of Patrick Muldoon.
If you didn’t see the sad news, the actor, best known for his roles on Melrose Place and Days of Our Lives, passed away on April 19. He was 57-years-old. At the time, it was revealed that Patrick suffered a heart attack.
More than a week later, it was confirmed on Wednesday (April 29) that Patrick died of myocardial infarction, which is commonly known as a heart attack, according to his death certificate viewed by People.
The document lists pulmonary embolism and hereditary coagulopathy as underlying causes. Coagulopathy is a genetic condition that involves problems with how the body forms blood clots, per the Mayo Clinic. A Pulmonary embolism is a blood clot that prevents blood flow to an artery in the lung.
Also according to his death certificate, Patrick‘s remains were cremated on Tuesday, April 28.
His other credits include stints on Saved by the Bell and Who’s the Boss?, as well as movies like Super Troopers, Saving Christmas, and a slew of TV movies. Later this year, he’s set to star in the movie Dirty Hands.
Shortly after his death, Patrick‘s sister shared tragic details about what happened the morning of his passing.
