USA will issue passports with Trump’s face The United States Department of State announced on Tuesday (28) that the country will issue a special edition passport with Donald Trump’s face. The document will have an illustration based on Trump’s official portrait as president on the inside of the cover. The art also features the president’s signature in gold. In the background will be the US flag and the Declaration of Independence. The passport will have the same validity and the same security features as the traditional model. Passport model with Donald Trump’s face US Department of State In October 2025, the US government had already announced another commemorative item to celebrate the semi-quincentennial of independence: a US$1 coin with Trump’s face. The coin’s final artwork was approved in March by a committee made up of the president’s supporters. One side shows Trump, with the word “Liberty” and the phrase “In God We Trust”. The other features the American eagle. Currently, United States law prohibits coins commemorating the national anniversary from bearing “bust or shoulder portraits of living or dead persons, as well as portraits of living persons on the reverse.” The law also prohibits portraits of living presidents from appearing on any type of U.S. currency or dollar bill. The document costs US$1 million and bears the president’s signature and image.
