Shooter is under arrest, says Trump
In a post on a social network, Donald Trump stated that the shooter had been detained. “Quite a night in Washington, D.C. The Secret Service and law enforcement did a fantastic job. They acted quickly and courageously. The shooter was apprehended, and I have recommended that “THE SHOW GOES ON,” but I will fully follow the authorities’ guidance. They will make a decision soon.”
