Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen.
Main cast will see returning stars like Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen, Emma D’Arcy as Rhaenyra Targaryen, Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower, and Ewan Mitchell as Aemond Targaryen. James Norton has joined as new character Lord Ormund Hightower. See the full cast list!

Season three of the drama series will premiere on Sunday (June 21) at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max.
The eight-episode season will air new episodes weekly, leading up to the season finale on August 9.
