President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) announced this Tuesday (13) to palace ministers that he chose Wellington César Lima e Silva for the Ministry of Justice. The investigation was carried out by journalist Túlio Amâncio.
César Lima e Silva is a jurist, lawyer and former Brazilian prosecutor, currently general attorney at Petrobras. He will replace Ricardo Ricardo Lewandowski.
Later this week, he is expected to announce his departure from his position at Petrobras and travel to Brasília, with the aim of meeting the president in person. The announcement of the choice should come out in the next few days.
