The number 2 of Chavismo and Interior Minister of the Venezuelan regime, Diosdado Cabello, stated this Friday (16) that the Chavista dictatorship “will not rest” until it achieves the release and return of the dictator Nicolás Maduro, captured by the United States during an operation in Caracas on the 3rd.
According to Cabello, this is a position that is also defended by interim dictator Delcy Rodríguez, who took charge of the Venezuelan regime after the capture of Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores. According to Cabello, the regime’s commitment at this time is to work “permanently” for the return of the Chavista leader to Venezuela.
Cabello stated that the Caracas dictatorship spares no effort to reverse what it classifies as Maduro’s “kidnapping”. Delcy Rodríguez, in turn, had previously said that she would not “rest for a minute” until she had Maduro back in the country.
Cabello participated this Friday in an event to deliver vehicles and equipment to local police forces and announced the installation of a surveillance camera system on the streets, a measure that, according to him, is part of reinforcing internal security amid the current scenario of political instability.
