Minister Dias Toffoli, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), authorized this Friday (16) the extension for another 60 days of the deadline for concluding investigations by the Federal Police (PF) in the case of Banco Master. The extension was granted after a request from the PF itself.
In the order, Toffoli stated that the arguments presented justify the extension of the deadline for the investigations to continue.
The minister is the rapporteur, at the STF, of the investigations involving the financial institution, extrajudicially liquidated by the Central Bank in November 2025.
Last Wednesday (14), the Federal Police launched the second phase of the operation related to the case. Search and seizure warrants were executed at addresses linked to Daniel Vorcaro, the bank’s controller, in addition to the temporary arrest of investor Fabiano Campos Zettel, Vorcaro’s brother-in-law. Businessman Nelson Tanure was also the target of a personal search.
