by Syndicated News

The NGO Foro Penal reported this Monday (26) that teenager Gabriel Rodríguez, who had been in prison for a year, was released by the Venezuelan dictatorship.

According to information from the website Efecto Cocuyo, the young man had been arrested on January 9, 2025, when he was 16 years old, after agents of the Chavista dictatorship searched his cell phone and allegedly found images on the device critical of the Nicolás Maduro regime, captured in a United States military operation at the beginning of this month.

Last month, Rodríguez was sentenced by Venezuelan courts to ten years in prison on terrorism charges.
