by Syndicated News

Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), ordered this Monday (26) that Papudinha’s management send, within five days, a complete report on the visits of relatives and lawyers to former president Jair Bolsonaro, who is serving a sentence of 27 years and three months in prison for his conviction in the criminal case for the coup plot.

With the decision, the prison administration must also send information about medical consultations and care, physiotherapy sessions, reading books and possible incidents.

On January 15, Moraes ordered the transfer of Bolsonaro from the Federal Police Superintendence, in Brasília, to the 19th Military Police Battalion, located within the Papuda Penitentiary Complex. The place is known as Papudinha and is intended for special prisoners, such as police officers, lawyers and judges.

The minister also authorized the former president to receive private medical care and allowed him to travel to hospitals in case of emergency. Bolsonaro is also authorized to receive special meals in prison.
