Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the STF (Supreme Federal Court), denied this Thursday (1st) the defense request of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) for humanitarian house arrest.
The defense had filed the request this Wednesday (31) and cited the need to grant home rule before Bolsonaro was discharged from the hospital. According to lawyers, health conditions could be worsened.
The former president underwent three procedures in recent days to treat the removal of a bilateral inguinal hernia and a bout of persistent hiccups. The forecast is that he will be discharged and return to the Federal Police Superintendence today.
