The incident occurred on the morning of December 26, 2025, near the permanent base of the unit in the Southern Military District.
According to Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Service, the explosion damaged a KAMAZ truck used to transport personnel and caused a fire inside the vehicle. Ukrainian intelligence officials said there were casualties among Russian soldiers, but did not release an official figure.
The DIU also said that the 47th Missile Brigade was directly involved in missile attacks against Ukraine. The incident comes weeks after another explosion was recorded in Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia region, in which five Rosgvardiya members were killed and four more seriously injured.
