If you’ve always dreamed of owning an affordable off-road vehicle, your search is over. Kuhla Japanese aftermarket company, has just presented Toyota GR86 Outroad to fulfill that dream.
It is not the first time that Toyota GR86 gets an all-terrain version. Last year, the Japanese manufacturer presented the concept GR86 Rally Legacy on SEMA. But while the concept was never realized, coming Kuhl now to make the dream come true.
The basic one Kuhl Outroad version of Toyota GR86 has a specially built coilover suspension system that raises the car by 7.62 cm compared to the standard version, while a hydraulic lifter that gives an additional 3.81 cm of height is available as an option.
The basic kit also includes a number of other upgrades such as front bumper and spoiler, side skirts, new rear bumper, rear lower spoiler and fender kit that is 25mm wider.
Kuhl Toyota GR86 Outroad will be officially unveiled at the 2026 Tokyo Motor Show in January with a starting price of approximately US$26,500. This price includes painting, installation of parts and taxes.
Among the extras, an $8,000 turbo package stands out, which includes ECU reprogramming, oil cooler and oil pan, resulting in a claimed output of 290 hp compared to the original 228 hp.
Other options include 18-inch forged wheels, upgraded brakes, roof racks, rear spoiler and more. However, it is worth emphasizing that Kuhl has not indicated that the vehicle will be available outside of the Japanese market.
