Kate Middleton Has Hilarious Reaction After Royal Fan’s Chair Breaks While Meeting Her
Kate Middleton is starting the new year with a special outing.
The Princess of Wales made a surprise appearance alongside her husband Prince William during an engagement at the Charing Cross Hospital in London on Jan. 8. Kate, who will mark her 44th birthday on Jan. 9, joined William as they visited with healthcare workers as patrons of the NHS Charities.
During their visit, Kate—who shares kids George12, Charlotte10, and Louis7, with William—spoke with a volunteer who worked with cancer patients.
During their discussion, according to Hello! Magazinethe volunteer mentioned the hours spent with patients during chemotherapy, to which Kate—who announced she was in remission following her cancer diagnosis in 2025—replied, “I know.”
And she wasn’t the only person impacted by her diagnosis, as William reflected on his wife’s time in the hospital and how their unique experiences gave them an appreciation for health care workers.
