Bad Bunny pulled out all the stops to stand out at the 2026 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 4) in New York City.
The Grammy-winning singer arrived in prosthetics and aged to look significantly older than his 32 years.
According to Vogue, his outfit is “meant to be in conversation with one of the many types of bodies explored as part of the Costume Institute’s 2026 exhibition,” namely, the aging body.
What is Bad Bunny wearing?
Bad Bunny arrived in a custom all-black tuxedo suit of his own design that he created in collaboration with Zara. It featured an oversized pussy bow tied around his neck designed in reference to designer Charles James‘ 1947 gown “Bustle,” which is a permanent part of the Costume Institute’s collection.
He also had an Audemars Piguet timepiece and cane.
Who did his old age makeup?
The “Me Porto Bonito” singer’s makeup and prosthetics were done by artist Mike Marino, who is known for assisting Heidi Klum with some of her most daring and epic Halloween costumes throughout the year.

The Met Gala is the biggest night in fashion every year and you can expect hundreds of A-List celebrities to be in attendance. The gala is celebrating the Met’s Costume Art exhibition, which “explores the ‘centrality of the dressed body’ through depictions and interpretations of the human form in the Met’s extensive collection.” The dress code this year is “Fashion is Art” and the co-chairs for the gala are Beyonce, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
