According to the publication, the commander of the Central General Headquarters Khatam al-Anbiya, Abdolrahim Mousavi Abdollahi, declared that Iran has reiterated that the security of the strategic sea route is the responsibility of the country’s armed forces. According to him, any safe transit of vessels must occur in coordination with Iranian military authorities.
