Iran’s proposal rejected by Trump would have freed the Strait of Hormuz

The proposal presented by Iran and rejected by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, provided reopen commercial traffic in the Strait of Hormuz and end the naval blockade of the region. According to a senior Iranian official this Saturday (2), the plan suggested an end to immediate hostilities, leaving discussions on the nuclear program for a later stage.
