A former student opened fire at a high school in Türkiye, this Tuesday (14), leaving 16 injured. After the attack, the suspect took his own life. The 18-year-old gunman, armed with a shotgun, fired randomly at a technical school in Siverek, Sanliurfa province, before hiding in the building. Special police units were mobilized after the gunman refused to surrender, while all staff and students were evacuated, NTV reported. He later took his own life with the same weapon, said Governor Hasan Sildak. A teacher among the injured is in serious condition, according to local broadcaster NTV.
