Former separatist leader is shot dead during his own mother’s wake

The former leader of a separatist movement in Corsica, a French island in the Mediterranean, was shot dead this Monday (12) during his mother’s funeral. Alain Orsoni, 71, was shot in a village near Ajaccio, the island’s capital, according to the local Public Prosecutor’s Office.
