Rob Reiner Murder: Alan Jackson Says Nick Reiner Not Guilty

Alan Jackson is sure of Nick Reiner’s innocence.

After withdrawing as an attorney for the 32-year-old, who has been charged in the murders of his parents Rob Reiner and Michele Reinerduring a Jan. 7 hearing in Los Angeles, Jackson shared his perspective on the case and his former client’s culpability.

“What we’ve learned, and you can take this to the bank, is that, pursuant to the laws of this state, pursuant to the law in California, Nick Reiner is not guilty of murder,” he told reporters, including for MS NOW. “Print that we wish him the very, very best.”

Nick has not spoken publicly about the allegations.

Following Alan’s exit from the case, it was also announced that the legal proceedings would be left in the hands of public defender Kimberly Greene for the time being. Due to the change in counsel, the judge rescheduled his arraignment to Feb. 23, where he is expected to make a formal plea.

Following the news, Nick’s family—which includes siblings Tracy Reiner61, Jake Reiner34, and Romy Reiner, 28,—expressed their faith in the justice system.
