Derek Hough Shares Sweet Way He’s Keeping His, Hayley Erbert’s Baby Close—Literally
Derek Hough is keeping his baby girl right next to his heart.
The Dancing With the Stars pro showed off his latest tribute to his and Hayley Erbert’s baby girl Everley Capri Hough. Hours after announcing the birth of his daughter, Derek shared a picture of himself wearing a silver necklace with the symbol for Capricorn, Everley’s zodiac sign, in the middle.
Alongside the Jan. 5 post, Derek wrote, “New chain,” with a pink heart emoji. In another sweet nod to their baby girl, Derek updated his Instagram bio to read, “girl dad.”
Derek and Hayley—who have been married since 2023—announced Everly’s arrival while offering the first look at her tiny dancing feet.
“December 29, 2025,” they captioned their Jan. 5 Instagram photofeaturing their hands holding their newborn’s feet. “Everley Capri Hough. Every step of our lives has led us to you. Our hearts have been cracked wide open and our world is forever changed.”
