The former first lady, Michelle Bolsonaro, said she expects a response from the Attorney General’s Office after the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Alexandre de Moraes, denied transferring Jair Bolsonaro to the hospital. The former president reportedly fell during the early hours of Tuesday (6), hitting his head on a piece of furniture in his cell at the Federal Police Superintendence, in Brasília.
Michelle also highlighted that there is a possibility that Paulo Gonet, Attorney General of the Republic, and Moraes could get their hands dirty with the blood of an innocent person. The councilor and son of the former president, Carlos Bolsonaro, stated that the fact that his father is trapped in a location close to a hospital does not guarantee quick assistance in the event of an emergency.
Bolsonaro’s defense classified the minister’s decision as a violation of rights. Lawyer Paulo Cunha Bueno stated that they will adopt appropriate legal measures in light of the STF minister’s refusal.
