If you’ve always dreamed of owning an affordable off-road car, your search is over. Kuhla Japanese aftermarket company, has just presented the Toyota GR86 Outroad to make this wish come true.
It’s not the first time that Toyota GR86 receives an all-terrain version. Last year, the Japanese manufacturer presented the concept GR86 Rally Legacy al SEMA. But while the concept never made it to production, Kuhl comes now to make this dream a reality.
The basic version Kuhl Outroad from the Toyota GR86 has a suspension system coilover customized that increases the height of the vehicle by 7.62 cm compared to the original version, while a hydraulic lift that allows an additional elevation of 3.81 cm is available as an option.
The basic kit also includes other modifications, such as front bumpers and spoilers, side sills, new rear bumper, rear lower spoiler and 25 mm wider wheel arch kits.
The Kuhl Toyota GR86 Outroad will be officially unveiled at the 2026 Tokyo Auto Show in January, with a starting price of around USD 26,500. This price includes painting, component installation and taxes.
Among the options stands out the USD 8,000 turbo kit which includes ECU remapping, oil cooler and oil pan, with a declared power of 290 hp compared to the original 228 hp.
Other options include 18-inch forged wheels, upgraded braking system, roof rack, rear spoiler and more. However, it should be emphasized that Kuhl has not indicated that the vehicle will be available outside the Japanese market.
