The website also stated that the blockade has forced Iran to supply old ships with oil, as the warehouses used to store production are completely full. The country has also resorted to alternative, longer and more expensive routes to transport oil. Earlier, Trump sent a letter to Congress stating that attacks on Iran were “over.” At the same time, he justified the maintenance of American forces in the Middle East by considering that the country continues to be a threat to the United States.
