Manufacturer HiPP published a statement on its website, stating that it was a victim of extortion. “This case results from criminal external manipulation, outside our sphere of influence, in three supermarkets in Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We are not aware of any other manipulations,” the company said.
