Storage Wars’ Darrell Sheets Was “Terrified for His Life” Before Death, Says Costar

Darrell Sheets’ loved ones are holding their memories close.
Following the death of the Storage Wars star, who died of an apparent suicide on April 22 at the age of 67, his ex-wife Kimber Wuerfel shared insight into her grief.
“I haven’t had the words until now,” she wrote in an April 30 Instagram message. “Thank you for all the love, prayers, and condolences, it has meant more than I can say. Darrell gave us so many moments of laughter, connection, and life.”
Noting details about a service in Sheets’ honor would be shared at a later date, she continued, “May the memories you hold of him stay close to your heart, as mine will stay with me forever. From our family to yours, thank you.”
Accompanying the caption was a video montage of moments that she and Sheets shared together over the years. While they parted ways in 2016, per Us Weeklythe pair reportedly remained close in the time since.
