A content creator named Meredith Lynch, who is a fan favorite online, is speaking out about the Met Gala tonight, and some online are pointing out who “liked” the post.
A recent video she uploaded mentioned Jeff Bezos‘ involvement in the event. If you aren’t aware, the Amazon founder and his wife Lauren Sanchez Bezos were both announced as lead sponsors for Fashion’s Biggest Night, taking place tonight.
“You cannot wear the ICE out pin to the Jeff Bezos-backed Met Gala. Jeff Bezos is part of the reason we’re in this mess,” Meredith said in her video. Bezos’s company, Amazon, has faced criticism for providing cloud computing services to U.S. government agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The video was “liked” by Bella Hadid, who has attended several Met Galas in the past, as well as Taraji P. Henson, who has also attended many, including the 2025 event.
Taraji also commented on the post, writing, “I am so confused by some ppl that are going. I am just like WTF ARE WE DOING!?!?!?!”
