Sam Asghari is addressing ex-wife Britney Spears‘ decision to enter a rehab facility.
Earlier this month, a rep for the 44-year-old “Circus” singer confirmed that Britney had voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility. The news comes more than a month after Britney was arrested for driving under the influence near her home in Ventura County, Calif.
While stepping out on Wednesday (April 22), Sam, 32, reacted to Britney seeking treatment.
Keep reading to find out more…“I think it’s great, [and] I think anything that has anything to do with healing [are] great things,” Sam told TMZ photographers. “As long as the person is in charge of that, it’s all great.”
Sam, who is a fitness model and actor, also noted that he hasn’t had any communication with Britney since she entered the treatment facility.
A source recently said that Britney‘s sons Sean, 20, and Jayden, 19, played a “big part” in getting her into treatment.
“They’ve been clear with her,” the source shared. They just want her to be healthy.”
The program the popstar is reportedly in is 30 days, but a source says she could stay longer.
