D4vd is facing several disturbing new allegations from prosecutors.
The 21-year-old singer, who was arrested and charged with the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas earlier this month, is accused of dismembering the late teenager with a chainsaw after fatally stabbing her, according to a new brief from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
The “Here With Me” singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has pled not guilty after being charged with one count of murder, one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14, and one count of unlawful mutilation of human remains.
Prosecutors outline alleged timeline leading up to the killing
The new brief, which can be seen here, claims D4vd killed Celeste on April 23 of last year following an argument over text.
“They began a sexual relationship in November 2023 when the victim was just 13 years old and defendant was 18,” the document claims.
“The messages reveal the victim’s jealousy over defendant’s relationships with other women, as defendant led her to believe they had a future together. She became extremely upset and threatened to disclose damaging information about her relationship with defendant to end his career and destroy his life.”
Filing describes alleged killing and failure to seek help
“Knowing he had to silence the victim before she ruined his music career as she had threatened, very soon after her arrival at his home, defendant stabbed the victim to death multiple times and stood by while she bled out. At no time did he call law enforcement or 911 or take her to an emergency room to attempt to save her life,” the brief reads.
D4vd reportedly purchased items to carry out the dismembering and dispose of her body, including a body bag and a blue inflatable pool.
New allegations detail alleged efforts to conceal the body
“After placing her body into the blue inflatable pool to prevent her blood from spilling onto his garage floor, defendant used a chainsaw and perhaps other tools to cut off her limbs,” the document reads, adding that D4vd allegedly “amputated her left ring and pinky fingers because her ring finger contained a tattoo of his name. Her fingers have not been recovered.”
“Defendant then placed her head and torso into the cadaver bag he purchased. He placed her limbs into a garbage bag, which he deposited into his front trunk, laying the cadaver bag on top. For several weeks, or possibly months, defendant left the victim’s body to decompose inside his Tesla.”
Medical examiner findings and next court date
The brief notes that the Medical Examiner ruled Celeste’s death a homicide caused by two penetrating injuries to the torso on December 9, 2025.
D4vd‘s defense has asked for more time to review the evidence, so the hearing is postponed from Friday, May 1 until Tuesday, May 26, per KLTA.
