Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s family is speaking out.
The relatives of the 14-year-old, who was found dead in the trunk of 21-year-old “Here With Me” singer D4vd‘s impounded Tesla, issued a statement after the performer was arrested in connection to the death.

“Thank God…justice for Celeste,” her father Jesus Rivas said, via family attorney Patrick Steinfeld to TMZ.
D4vd is currently being held in jail, and there are reports that the Los Angeles District Attorney will file charges on Monday (April 20).
Her family also shared that they plan to exercise their rights under California’s Victims’ Bill of Rights, also known as Marsy’s Law, to attend D4vd‘s arraignment if he’s charged with her murder, as well as attending any press conference held by the D.A. afterward. They would also speak to the media afterward.
D4vd‘s arrest comes seven months after a decomposed body was found in an abandoned Tesla registered to him.
In November, gruesome details about Celeste‘s murder were revealed after D4vd was named a suspect in the case.
Booking records show that D4vd is being held without bail, though he has yet to be officially be charged by prosecutors. His lawyers also just spoke out.
