Sabrina Carpenter Declares Grammys Red Carpet “Quiet” After Chappell Roan Calls Out Photographers
Sabrina Carpenter knows Miss Piggy has good taste.
Indeed, the “Manchild” singer says as much during the return of The Muppet Showwhich premieres Feb. 4 on Disney+ and ABC. But was the Muppet icon at all phased by the Grammy winner while filming the special?
“Was I intimidated?” Miss Piggy balked in an exclusive interview with E! News’ Will Marfuggi. “If anything, I think you should ask Sabrina if she was intimidated by moi.”
The half-century-old TV star added, “Well, actually, don’t ask her that, though. Just take my word for it. She was very intimidated.”
But while Miss Piggy is used to hogging the spotlight, her pal Kermit the Frog stepped in to praise the “Please Please Please” artist.
“What I think Miss Piggy is meaning to say,” he said in the joint interview, “is that it was great to share the stage with Sabrina, who is an amazing singer and actress.”
With a side-eye, Miss Piggy responded, “Sure, sure, sure, yeah. That’s what I meant.”
